Welcome to Sandstone Brewery
Hello from your newest and local micro-brewery 'Sandstone'. Sandstone brewer's philosophy is "We drink it, therefore we brew it" and from now on, we will be brewing it for you.
Our signature brew 'Sandstone Edge' was very well received, which set the pace for the introduction of the first of our Village Ale range - 'Postman Prat'. Prat went down a storm and it being our Winter '08 brew, orders for our Seasonal ale continued into the Summer.
'Buxom Barmaid' has been a great success, perhaps something to do with its fruity overtones and is still available, we have to plans to phase it as she continues to delight. Will she be pulling your pint soon??
'Sleeping Policeman' is now available and will be showcased at the Chester Autumn Beer Festival on Halloween Weekend.

| Sandstone Edge 3.8% is an aromatic session ale with a golden straw appearance and a light bitternesss and body to the aftertaste. It is comprised of a fusion of fuggles and goldings hops at the beginning of the boil combined with pale crushed malt. The sweet smell is thanks to a handful of late cascade hops. | Buxom Barmaid 4.7% is a rich-golden, wholesome, Springtime ale. It's fruity overtones are a result of Brewer's Gold hops infused with Fuggles and Goldings. Maris Otter Malt has produced a full-bodied mouth-feel, which will quench the thirst leaving you wanting more... A frisky little number sure to put a spring back into your step. | more |  |
